Kiwi Diver Receives PADI 2012 “Diver Retention Award”
PADI Asia Pacific would like to congratulate PADI 5 IDC Kiwi Diver.
From diving the coastal waters of England, to settleing and residing in Thailand. Mr. Kevin Black PADI Master Instructor and proud owner of Kiwi Diver has been awarded the 2012 PADI Achievement Award for “Diver Retention”
Kiwi Diver is a PADI 5 Star IDC facility located in the south of Phuket, Thailand. And since opening his doors late 2010 Kevin Black has certainly made a huge impact on Phuket’s diving industry. The three story IDC facility has a fully equipped IDC classroom, which has been designed to cater not just for PADI recreational courses, but also designed to teach PADI Instructor Development Courses and PADI Rebreather Courses.
PADI have received many email’s in 2012 regarding the fine attention to detail which Kevin and his staff provide, some of this recognition was also highlighted from fellow PADI Professionals, along with the local Media in Phuket recognizing Kevin’s work., 2012 saw a number of press releases/articles highlighting Kevin’s work and determination.
The Award was presented to Kevin during the 2013 PADI Members Forum by Mark Spiers PADI Director of Sales and Field Services, and PADI Regional Manager Tony Andrews, Both Kevin and his staff were thrilled to receive the Award, with Kevin targeting more PADI Awards for 2013.
