Gili Trawangan is the largest of three small islands just off the north-west corner of Lombok – the island just east of Bali in Indonesia. All are part of the famed “Coral Triangle” and one of the world’s richest locations for scuba diving. There are no motorized vehicles on the Gili Islands and the main means of transportation are bicycles and cidomos (small horse-drawn carriages).
Blue Marlin Dive Centre on Gili Trawangan is the longest-established dive centre on the island – founded in the 1990’s by owner and avid diver, Simon Liddiard – a PADI Course Director and renowned technical diver. This year Simon and their staff celebrate 25 years in the diving industry.
