With the PADI Freediver program launch earlier this month, it’s a great time to map your path towards becoming a PADI Freediver Instructor.
As a current PADI member there are various options to qualify as a PADI Freediver Instructor. PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors (or those with a higher PADI rating) who are also certified as Emergency First Response Instructor and PADI Advanced Freediver (with the required freediving experience) can apply directly for the PADI Freediver Instructor rating. Qualifying certification from another organization may also qualify.
PADI Divemaster or Assistant Instructors who are also certified as Emergency First Response Instructor and PADI Master Freedivers can attend a PADI Freediver Instructor Training Course. Qualifying certification from another organization may also qualify.
To get you started on your pathway to become a PADI Freediver Instructor, PADI Asia Pacific has scheduled PADI Freediver courses in various locations across Asia Pacific.
The PADI Freediver courses conducted by leading industry experts includes full two-day tuition, all required materials, access to confined and open water as well as certification fees if the course is completed successfully.
